West Ham loan ace Emmanuel Emenike is being linked with a move to former club Kardemir Karabukspor after his temporary spell in East London has expired, according to Sporx.

The Nigeria international arrived at the Boleyn Ground in January to bolster Slaven Bilic’s contingent and offer the Croatian boss an extra option in the final third.

However, the African forward was sparingly used by the Premier League side, who preferred to give the nod to Andy Carroll or Diafra Sakho.

Emenike has not been offered a permanent deal with West Ham and as such has returned to parent club Fenerbahce – where he also is surplus to requirements.

The 29-year-old played for Karabukspor from 2009-2011, scoring an impressive 30 goals in 51 appearances and is now being linked with a return to the Turkish side, who have just been promoted back to their domestic top tier.

Emenike has 37 caps for Nigeria, where he has scored nine goals.
