Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo has snubbed approaches by West Ham, Stoke City and Everton, and is waiting to sign for a ‘bigger club’, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Hammers are well stocked at centre-half but a new dominant enforcer would not go amiss at the London club, especially given speculation over James Tomkins’ future.

Murillo has impressed since moving to Inter and is being touted with a move to England this summer.

The Colombia international is fast across the ground, physically imposing and has good reading of the game.

Although Inter want to hold onto Murillo, should a bumper bid come in for the South American the Italians could well sell him to bolster their coffers.

West Ham are believed to have been shunned in their interest in the Colombian and as such should Slaven Bilic want a new defender this summer the club will seemingly have to look elsewhere.
