West Ham United are being linked with a move for Oostende striker Cyriac Gohi, but will have Crystal Palace as competition for the African attacker’s signature, according to The Express.

The Hammers are widely acknowledged as being in the market for a new centre forward this summer and have been linked with a host of attackers from all over Europe.

Gohi has stood out in the Belgian top flight this season and looks set to leave his current employers for a fee in the £3 million region.

The Ivory Coast international has netted 13 times this season in 28 outings, which has seen him linked with a host of foreign clubs over the last six months.

The report suggests that Gohi may prefer a move to Selhurst Park due to the strength in depth in the centre forward position at West Ham, but that Slaven Bilic is keeping a close eye on the situation.
