West Ham are reportedly willing to offer £10 million for Bournemouth winger Max Gradel.

According to the Mail, West Ham are ready to offer the Cherries big money for a player that has made just 12 appearances this season after sustaining a cruciate knee ligament injury back in September.

Gradel has attracted the interest of the Hammers before, coming close to a move to Upton Park under Sam Allardyce. There is no doubting the ability of the 28-year-old, he is a very skillful and pacey player that is well suited to the Premier League. However, would West Ham seriously offer that much for a player that has barely featured in the Premier League so far?

West Ham have other targets in the wide attacking position, most notably the likes of Manchester United’s Memphis Depay, Besiktas’ Gokhan Tore and Celta Vigo’s Nolito. Slaven Bilic will be eager to add further strength out wide as the Hammers are lacking a plethora of options in that particular area.

Michail Antonio has really impressed in his right-midfield position but Victor Moses has struggled to nail down a starting spot in Bilic’s side. Although Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet can go out wide, Bilic will be looking to add naturally wide players to allow further creativity from players through the middle.

Max Gradel is certainly a good player, but would the Hammers really pay that much for him?
