West Ham are set to move for Bisiktas winger Gokhan Tore in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.

There have been many reports in the past linking the Turkish winger with a move to the Hammers due to the fact that Slaven Bilic managed the winger for two years during his time at Besiktas.

The Metro are reporting that Arsenal are interested in signing the winger for £14.5 million and it is unclear whether West Ham would have this money to spend in the winter window.

Bilic has spoken of his admiration for Tore and revealed that he wanted to sign the winger in the summer:

“I have always said that Gökhan Töre could play at any European team, he has both the quality and the potential,” Bilic said.

“After agreeing terms with West Ham I told the board that I want him and I strongly believe he would add a lot to the team and be a success in England.”

The Hammers manager has already brought in the likes of Victor Moses and Michail Antonio as natural widemen but the latter has barely featured for the Irons this season.

Gokhan Tore could be an expensive edition but he would certainly add further quality to the side that already boasts high quality attacking talent.
