West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Everton and Manchester City target Pione Sisto from Danish club FC Midtjylland, according to talkSPORT.

The club name may ring a bell for some Hammers fans as Midtjylland sold Winston Reid to the Hammers for £2.94m in 2010.

Now, the Hammers have got their eye on one of the Danish club’s latest talents in the form of 20-year-old winger Sisto. According to the Danish newspaper Tipsbladet, Sisto impressed West Ham scouts in a recent Europa League tie against Club Brugge.

With Morgan Amalfitano leaving the club earlier this week, West Ham could be in the market for another wide midfielder in January and Sisto certainly fits the bill.

The Dane, who was born in Uganda, recently made his senior international debut in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Albania on 4th September. He had scored four goals in four U21 international appearances prior to that.

Blessed with lightning pace and quick feet, Sisto could be a decent acquisition for Slaven Bilic’s side.

Scouts from Barcelona, Milan, Porto and Juventus have all watched Sisto in the past but it now looks as if the Premier League could be his most likely destination if he is to leave Denmark in the near future.
