West Ham have moved brilliantly to secure a number of signings before the 6pm transfer deadline this evening.
The likes of Alex Song, Nikica Jelvaic, Victor Moses and Michail Antonio have joined the club on the final day of the season, offering Bilic a plethora of options throughout his West Ham squad.
It was always going to be interesting to see just how much the owners backed Bilic throughout the transfer market and the extra additions today suggest that the club are determined to move forward and strengthen the squad.
The one big issue for Hammers fans in recent weeks was the fact that the side lacked width. The signings of Moses and Antonio are moves that not only cover these positions but add further quality to the squad as well.
Top signing, provides much-needed pace and width. Been a great #deadlineday for #WHUFC so far pic.twitter.com/L7yyrdMUmx

We all know what Alex Song can do and it is a relief that he has passed his medical before the transfer deadline. When he is eventually fit, his presence in midfield could prove to be absolutely vital as he will hopefully return to full fitness by the time the busy Christmas period approaches.

Nikica Jelavic is another addition that will improve the Hammers. He adds Premier League experience and is more than capable of scoring goals at this level, especially if he is given the right service.
The deadline day spending amounts to around £10m due to permanent deals for Jelavic and Antonio. In Antonio, the Hammers have signed a real English prospect that was very impressive in the Championship last season. He will hopefully add more goals to the side as well, something that both he and Moses can bring to Bilic’s setup.
It has certainly proved to be a fantastic day for West Ham and it looks as if the business is now all but complete. Rumours of Emmanuel Adebayor continue to circulate but the Irons would only be able to sign the forward if he bought out/cancelled the rest of his contract with Tottenham. This is because the Hammers have already used up their two domestic loans on the signings of Jenkinson and Moses.
Jack Sullivan has confirmed that the club has completed 99% of its business but refused to completely draw the line under any further activity:
99% all done for today – no more to come in or out. But you never know !

It has been an excellent day for the club, who do you think is West Ham’s best deadline day signing?
Antonio scoring some superb goals last season:
great day of signings lovely that we got them done so early. surely this window cant eclipse the deadline day signings of tevez and mascherano surely!!!
also Jelavic is a desperate buy, i think we were linked with some good strikers like hernandez
Y would west ham United pay EA contract with the spuds and then pay him 100k a week he is just not that good.
