What should West Ham’s targets be for next season?

Sam AllardyceI’m not even allowing the dust to settle on the current season here. We’re all but mathematically safe and another season in the Premier League awaits. But what should be the target for West Ham?

A poor start to the season, for what ever reason. But of late, things have generally been good for West Ham. In the last six fixtures, West Ham have won more (3) than Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal (2). Progress is showing, but where next?

Will Sam Allardyce still be in charge? I think yes. He’s yet to fail as West Ham manager and that stability is hopefully achieved earlier next season. More of the same, in terms of safety will be enough in my opinion and that’s easily achievable with a better fortune than the current season.

What do you think should be our target for next season? With Sam in charge and without Sam in charge. Let me know in the comments below or by tweeting me @TheTobyFry.

I don’t care who they are as long as they look up, look forward, don’t give the ball away, have some pace, and can create something…ANYTHING !!!

My dream signings would include Micah Richards and lescott in defence,Shelvey and a holding midfielder (the French lad at Stoke?) with either Baor Bony up front with McCormack as an optional extra. Martin from Norwich might be an alternative for Richards. If we could keep Armero that woulld be good too. We would need outgoings so Iwould be prepared to lose both Coles,Collison,Nolan,Taylor,Diarra, the 2Italians on loan and o,Brien. Might sound drastic but not sure if these are premiership quality
