If it’s anything like January’s transfer window then we will struggle to get players in especially strikers as they know that Carroll, if fit, will be the lone striker. Players do not want to play for Allardyce.

100 per cent right m8 zaha aint going to come to west ham and ravel being sold before we see the best of him is all down to sam pluss 20 million is not enough to spend

  • garry says:

We need to spend nearer to 40 million 20 25 million on lukaku 8 million micka richards rodwell on loan pluss redman out wide

  • chris says:

£20 million, is this including £8 million sale of Morrison or would this be in addition?
We need a striker (£10 to £15 million), goalkeeper, if Jussi leaves, we need a replacement (I’d like him to stay). One winger, maybe a central midfielder and possibly a central defender so that we don’t find ourselves in the same position as the Christmas just gone with all three guys out. £28 million would cover this. £20 million? Not so sure…

      To Garry:

If we spend over £25m in the summer, I’ll chop my right bollock off
      You seem extremely delusional
If you think Zaha won’t come to us, why would Lukaku?? Especially knowing he will be behind Carroll in the pecking order
      Micah Richards, maybe
But wages will most certainly be a problem
And lastly…it’s Redmond, not redman. Get your facts strait.
And the only way we’ll get Redmond is if Norwich get relegated, otherwise, they won’t sell

ha ha spot on arun id like a right back I don’t rate demel a left winger a right winger and two strikers get rid of collision maiga vaz te jussi and send that useless Johnson back

  • John Pritchard says:

Keeping Reid is paramount – strange if Armero has been that good, he hasn’t made the team yet – in addition to Collison,Jussi and Cole, one assumes Taylor, Maiga and hopefully Vaz Te will be leaving – and the last thing we will want is that cheat Ashley Young, we’ve already got one crap winger in Jarvis, we don’t need another. It would be good to think we can work Morrison’s flair into the side but the lad himself has to sort his head out – there does seem to be a lot of trouble and disinformation.

  • AussieHammer says:

    Shortlist I believe is affordable £20 Million;

    Chekiou Kouyate – CB
Reason being Tomkins is inconsistent, Reid and Kouyate will provide such a strong and youthful combination
    Romelu Lukaku – CF
Throw £10 Million at Chelsea for the transfer

Don’t sell Ravel, the kid is still a kid. The club will fail him if they refuse to put in the time. Given the chance he can bang goals (4 in 3 at QPR)
    Thoughts guys?

  • garry says:

Replace the manager is whats needed we have a good spine of the team and a real gem in morrison. Id go for micka richards he can play in the centre or on right why he never gets picked for england is stuppid and while we do a deal with city why not add rodwell on loan. A striker is also a big must and breaking the bank for lukaku is a must 30 million is all we need

  • NJ says:

There is no way we are getting Lukaku. You would have to pay at least 20 million pounds to get him, and I can’t see Chelsea selling.

Eto’o is on a one year contract, and I don’t think he will get an extension. Torres and Ba is contracted until 2016, but they are 28 and 29 years old. It is no secret Mourinho doesn’t like any of them.

  • Adam Leatherbarrow says:

I would offer £15m plus ravel to Chelsea for lukaku all day long. Get a couple of loan deals in, and sell to get a right back. Plus we need a backup keeper if jussi goes.

I think the threat of Carroll AND Lukaku will be unreal. I think gold and Sullivan have already stated this last season.

    • the swindon hammer says:

its a nice thought mate but there is absolutely no chance of us getting lukaku A he would cost 18m plus and B if he did come up for sale the amount of much bigger clubs in for him would be enormous nice thought though

  • Joe D says:

I don’t think we’re ready for that Jelle.
