Marco BorrielloWE HAVE A STRIKER! I know, I can’t quite believe it but the last 48 hours have brought great news for the Hammers faithful.

With the signing of AS Roma forward Marco Borriello now confirmed, West Ham fans can start ‘YouTubing’ the Italian and begin to get carried away with what the 31-year-old might achieve at Upton Park.

The Serie A side have released a statement containing the details of the deal and, with a dodgy translation, it reads along the lines of:

“AS Roma announces that it has signed with West Ham United FC, the contract for the temporary transfer of rights of the player Borriello, until 30 June 2014, for a fee of € 0.7 million.”

So, basically, we’ve paid around £500,000 to take Borriello on loan.

What’s have your thoughts on the transfer?

Fuck me so many negative pricks on here. Were in a relegation battle and everyone is moaning. This is where we should all br pulling together. People sam sams tactics are outdated but people on here are pass there sell by date and accept we donthave di canios and bonds playing. Palace support at home is fantastic and look where they are now. Im a season ticket holder and atmospher is shit. Start supporting the team, stop the hatred for sam and maybe we will get somewhere. But until then upton park is a nice place to come for oppsition players and fans.

Dumb and dumber strike again, they wont pay 4 mil to oust BFS but will shell out 500 grand on a striker no where near his prime, makes sense
