Slaven BilicCurrent Besiktas manager Slaven Bilic is interested in taking over at West Ham United should the position become vacant, Sports Direct News understands.

Following two embarrassing cup performances in the space of two days, the calls from the West Ham faithful for the board to sack Sam Allardyce has increased tenfold.

The Irons have not won a Premier League game since the 30th November and are well and truly in a relegation dogfight.

Big Sam insists he still has the support of joint-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan but failure to get any sort of result against Cardiff City on Saturday may change that.

Bilic played for West Ham in the mid-90s and has been strongly linked with the West Ham job in the past.

    Get him in ASAP

  • steviez says:

I like Bilic but I don’t think the 2 David’s would like him the owners should be tight lipped and the 2 David’s tell the world what’s going on which is really annoying. BILIC would be great anyone would be great besides Grant

    • teddybard says:

Just like the owners are tight lipped?
or do the leaks from Jack Sullivan not get out deliberately.
Too late to change for this season I think.
      Were F**d

  • Dave says:

Yes, Bilic would be good. hopefully as a player manager as he still looks like he could cut it on the field.

  • DAVE says:

Steviez – You are right he would be better than Grant! a few years late thoough!!
All west ham fans, ow is the time to back the team, we will talk ourselves into negativity and relegation, best that all the people on the websites stay away as they are all so negative, no doubt all these are the ones to boo the players on a saturday.
I come from an era of west ham fans who always backed the team, i watched us go up, go down, get stuffed many a time, seen good teams and bad teams. This isn’t the worse team I have seen over Upton park, but its the worst support I have ever known in my 45 years as a season ticket holder. We were all there when we got done by 6 by oldham, we went straight down the motorway and cheered them on at Swndon a few days later, its time for the so called great west ham supporter to stand up and be counted, we can make upton park a hard place to go, away fans you to hate it, now they laugh.
So to all the people who want to slag them off, go over Tottenham, you deserve each other.
    Come on You Irons.

Dave your full of it, I have watch West Ham just as long as you and I cant se what your problem is. Are you happy watching our team getting beat 5 -0 or 6-0 Dave if you haven’t grown a set of B–l’s to speak out that’s not my fault. But that’s why am here West Ham fans deserve better, your happy watching a kid crying coz your team is playing that bad. Dave have you got no expectations for our club your happy to sit back and take this. With supporters thinking the way you do we will win nothing. Oh by the way your going on about booing I have never done it, what’s the point going to a match to boo your team

I get so bored of that “shit support now, good old days” rambling. It’s a totally different world now with many players showing zero loyalty and taking massive wages. We expect quality cos they are paid to deliver. As is the £3m per year manager. This certainly isn’t the worst team I’ve seen in the last 30 years but the effort put in by some of them is amongst the worst. I drop £700 for my season and I expect to see a decent squad, well-organised and putting in 100%. When I don’t I am entitled to moan. When the players had been with the club for years, were often local and didn’t earn £50k+ a week, I would have cut them more slack too when they had a poor game or run of matches.

Btw, everybody heard the support on Wednesday night (and on Sunday) on the TV. Talksport banged on about it. It was bloody massive and a tribute to all who coughed up that £150-£200 in total for the round trip with extras to watch an absolute pile of crap. A 6-0 drubbing is easier to take if your team put in a shift. Aside from Adrian and Downing, I didn’t spot anyone doing more than just turning up.

I’d be happy with Bilic for sure.

Westham can either Bury there head in the sand or sack him.
If they sack him, they need to support the new manager by spending money .
The fans are great. Club is now shite

  • beckton Geoff says:

I agree with Jamie GET HIM IN !! , im a. Season ticket holder to would never boo my West ham off but im not happy with the negativity BFS show in TV interview so myself and my 6 friends do not go to away games any more until BFS has been sacked, stop going since the palace game I’ve put every penny away i would have spent and I’ve nearly got enough to take my 3 grandchildren to Disneyland Paris happy days , they say thank you BFS .

unfortunately it’s simply too late for WHU to rescue the season. we will stand by the team but the reality is we have to win at least 8-games and a few draws in order to survive. For a team which is performing as poorly as we are, this task is simply monumental. I think the owners have taken their eye off the ball and have concentrated on getting us into the olympic stadium rather than planning ahead for what is the most crucial element off all football clubs – performance on the pitch. It appears they have put blind faith in sam to keep us up while they worked on the stadium bid. I ask – who is the football director at the club? what long term plans did they have to ensure we develop a squad of players deserving of a world class stadium and who could drive the club forward? what a great opportunity we have to propel to the next level but all this now lye’s in tatters. Poor planning, poor judgement and poor decision making will cost this club dearly.

maybe we will go down pal but I for one have not given up yet every game is hard when you are down the bottom but we have all been here before bring in 2 strikers add a few goals get reid back marshalling the back 4 along with Collins and we stand a chance we are not 10 points adrift for gods sake two wins and every thing changes ok we are at rock bottom now but the only way is up COYI

  • bobbyiron says:

i know times are hard but we need to get behind the team. all is not lost yet only january….. dont care what division we play in cause i am west ham through and through and that will never ever change..weve been here before and got out of it, so theres no stopping us from doing it again. come on u irons…….

  • nedirons says:

The thing that gets right up my nose with gold and sullivan is they make the club look stupid by saying things like we are getting this player or that player in when nothing has been done and dusted. For gods sake you two keep it buttoned up until the player has actually signed for us then you can tell the whole world about it without making us look a laughing stock.

  • banksy says:

If we get turned over tmr then fat man has to bike it. Bilic or malky will do we need to get confidence back plus injuries sorted asap a couple of fresh faces should round it off. All is not lost chin up gents and lets crack on.

  • steve says:
